Katcha - Why I Don't Take Students

In the past I have been e-mailed by some individuals. Some for advice, some for more of an apprenticeship. As much as I would love to help out, I don't take students. I will explain this one better in a moment. Also, my main advise to anyone is to find someone to consult close at home. I will try to answer specific questions, but the answers will be very general in nature. Without truely knowing you, it is hard to judge your character, aura, etc. and these things are needed to give you true answers to more personal type questions. I also ask that minors have their parents approval. I know how hard it is to be pagan in a christian family, but I also know how aggressive christian parents can get when they feel their beliefs are being threatened and their children turned away from them. Aside from that, I am still learning myself and I don't have all the answers. Please, all, understand.

Now, a little story on why I don't take students. Several years ago I took my first student. I was rather skeptical, but he had real potential. Ok, let's go into just a little more detail. I used to be rather powerful, so to speak. I could make things happen pretty much without trying and I had a true gift for prophesy. I could open doorways to other realms and open peoples eyes to these things. This individual had real potential, but he was a non-believer in magick and such. He thought I was crazy when I told him what I believed, so I showed him. Opened his eyes. I didn't do some fancy magic trick or cast any spells, I simply took away the veil that closed his eyes to his true essence. He was already rather powerful in his being and just needed a little guidance to control it, so he asked me for help. I had never taught anyone and was somewhat afraid, but I agreed to it.

Bad mistake. I'm not sure truely what he was - a psychic vampire perhaps - I don't know. I guided him for a while then he wanted me to help him cast a spell. He was getting divorced and it looked as if his wife was getting their two kids. The spell was to aid him in getting custody. I planned a spell myself and we agreed to do them together. Well, he wasn't a very fit father, but she wasn't a very fit mother either, so when we were doing his spell, I placed all my energies into the best interests of the kids, not on a specific parent (him) as he wanted. Since I channel all my energies silently through my mind, he didn't know the change - to my knowledge, but once we started my spell, he altered it from what it was supposed to be as well.

Ok, then he did something else, but how I am not sure. He drained me of my very life energy. I think I almost died. I was dropped off at a friends house where I lay in a floor for a week unable to move, eat, or even go to the bathroom. She had to keep checking to make sure I was even alive. After that, my powers - my energies were gone. After 6 years I am just starting to regain some of my true essence, but it is hard. Now other forces try to keep it away from me and since I lost it once they have a less difficult time in doing so. Only Legion has given any of it back to me, and even that was locked away by another force. So you can surely understand why I do not take students anymore.
